THE CACTI
The cacti are succulent plants beloging to the cacti family.
These plants are very slow growing and long life whose size and shape depends of its kind.
There are species that have lived in extreme natural conditions, withstand high temperatures, sever drought periods by lack of rain and plagues and diseases.
The cacti's experience over the years has been transformed, lose leaves and stems to create a lifestyle that allows them to survive with little water and avoid desiccation by transpiration of its "water reservation".
Whithout its water reservation it will die.
The vegetative development is produced mainly from the months of March or April. Its flowers are waking up in spring.
Three important things when we are going to plant a cacti:
+ rich soil in nutrients.
+ porous soil.
+ water depending on the cacti's species.
In this way we will enjoy a cacti with more colour, bright, its growth will be healthier, stronger its defenses and its flowers are spectacular.
